Introducing HP's new Gaming Notebook the "HP OMEN" !

Yes. you read that right in the title of this post that Hewlett Packard is entering the immersive gaming world with its new gaming notebook called the "HP OMEN"


The company tells that this notebook is based on Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M GPU with 2GB or 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM variant and a quad-core Intel Core i7-4710HQ processor. It has a 15.6-inch LED-lit IPS screen providing a 1920 x 1080 resolution and touch-based input. Storage is settled up on with 128 GB SSD, but the company also provides 256 GB and 512 GB PCIe SSD options. Depending on the budjet, gamers acan also choose to have 8 GB or 16 GB of DDR3L memory. This notebook's I/O's are all way shifted to the back side which contains four USB 3.0 ports, mini DisplayPort output and HDMI output. HP is also providing ethernet dongle to the gamers. This notebook is having a total weight of 4.68 pounds and measures just 0.783 inches thin.



Now let's move to the notebook's design. There are two fans provided at the bottom of the laptop for pulling the air in, and exhaust fans on the back, keeping the warm air away from the user's hands and the keyboard. One interesting feature here is that the laptop features a custom chrome hinge so that the warm air doesn't affect the diaplay, and rubber feet to elevate the notebook so that it can pull in cool air.


You guys mostly gaming in dark? Well here HP is giving in this notebook. The OMEN laptop features an illuminated keyboard with seven zones, customizable multicolor lighting and six function keys. Also included are Beats Audio speakers that also have a multicolor lighting feature that can light up a specific color when the laptop is playing music, videos, games etc. OMEN laptop is coming with Windows 8.1 operating system and a battery promising up to 4 hours and 45 minutes of backup.


Customers can purchase the laptop at a starting price of $1499.99 (i.e. Approx. around 97,000 INR)
